1. The Short Version
Plain English: no trackers, no selling data, no passwords. An account is just your name and email, used to hold your BuildBux and send the instructions you unlock. Your idea text goes to the AI to make your plan, and your saved inventions live in your own browser.

2b. Your Email Address
Plain English: we keep your email so your BuildBux balance works and so we can send you the instructions you unlocked. Reply "stop spam" and we stop emailing you.
Creating an account stores your name and email address so we can hold your BuildBux balance and send you the build instructions and parts lists you unlock. Email is sent from GadgetUpSupport@gmail.com through a third-party email provider that delivers the message on our behalf.
We never sell, rent, or share your email address, and we do not send advertising for other companies. To stop all email, reply to any message with "stop spam", click the unsubscribe link in any message, or use our unsubscribe page. Unsubscribing does not delete your account or your saved builds. To have your account and email deleted entirely, email us and we will remove them.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- No passwords — accounts are email-only, so there is no password to steal
- No cookies for tracking, no analytics trackers, no ad pixels
- No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers — ever
- No payment information (the Service is currently free)
4. Where Your Inventions Live
Saved inventions are stored in YOUR browser's localStorage on YOUR device. We never see them and cannot recover them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
5. Do Not Share Sensitive Information
Plain English: the idea box is for invention ideas, nothing else.
Never type passwords, Social Security numbers, financial details, medical information, or other sensitive personal data into the idea box. Anything you submit is processed by an AI system — keep it about gadgets.
6. Third-Party Processors
The Service runs on Cloudflare (hosting, Workers) and uses AI model providers to process idea text and generate plans. Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, and BOM links point to third-party retailers (such as Amazon) whose sites have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the policies of any store you visit.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
We do not sell or share personal information. If you have an account, the only personal data we hold is your name, email, and BuildBux balance. You may request a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely — email GadgetUpSupport@gmail.com and we will action it. You can stop all email at any time via our unsubscribe page without deleting your account.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information, contact us and we will address it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
